A little more about me...

I am a keen gardener, I love watching film in the cinema, I am passionate about live music, I love reading poetry and I like a regular rummage in a charity shop or car boot sale. I believe counselling gives us the space to get to know the real self.  As your counsellor, I will to listen to you with empathy and compassion, help you see your strengths and show you kindness as you work through your challenges.


With my support, over time your difficulties will too will pass and you will be able to lead the life you want.

My experience and areas of specialism


I'm a very experienced therapist and educator and have been practising therapeutically for over 20 years. I've provided support in a broad range of settings ranging from voluntary clinics, educational settings, corporate support services and within the ASN sector.

I am trained in a range of therapeutic modalities and I'm really happy to tailor sessions to your needs.

I specialise in providing support to individuals and families who are struggling to make sense of life events or struggling to deal with complex emotions. I have worked extensively with young adults who are challenged educationally by autism, dyslexia, ADHD.


I also support those who are challenged emotionally by self-esteem issues, anxiety disorders, body image and depression.


I am a registered BACP counsellor and abide by their code of conduct.
